Edgewood Property.comYour Edgewood Area Real Estate SpecialistWhy Use Me As Your Realtor?? Good Question... 1) Take your time. Interview at least a couple of agents and ask questions about their experience, area of expertise, marketing strategies, etc. Be sure you actually like the person you choose--you'll probably be spending a lot of time with them in the next few months. Ask for references and get feedback from people they have represented in the past. 2) Communication. Find an agent that you can communicate well with. Someone that will answer you phone calls, will actually listen to your wants and needs, and someone that you really feel will be honest with you. 3) Local. I really think it is important to find an agent that knows the market that you are planning to buy or sell in. 4) Technology. Even though I still value face to face interaction, technology is key to the real estate business today. It's important that your agent feels comfortable and confident at utilizing the Internet for marketing your home, helping you find a new home, and obtaining useful information regarding your transaction. 5) Reputable company and Associations. Find an agent that is held to high ethical standards and continuing education required by associations such as the National Association of Realtors.
